Her presentation is called “I’m A Good Person, Isn’t That Enough?” She’s devoting her life to exploring the impact that white skin can have on perception, and how individuals can help themselves and others change misconceptions and attitudes.
  • Today: Northwest Indiana financial advisor Greg Hammer talks about how we can better handle our money, while dealing with periods of high inflation. Economists now say that the Russia-Ukraine conflict would trigger even higher global inflation and that could affect investments, especially ones that include commodities like grains and crude oil.
  • Today: "Indiana Gaming Insight," "Indiana Legislative Insight" and "Indiana Education Insight" newsletters creator/editor Ed Feigenbaum is on "Regionally Speaking" to review what the 2022 General Assembly session did on bills related to the state's gaming industry, the issues surrounding administrative agencies like the Gaming Commission and the state's public education system.

The planned opening date for the space on the Mall's second floor is April 4th.
  • Today: Andy Downs, the executive director of the Mike Downs Center for Indiana Politics at Purdue University Fort Wayne, is on "Regionally Speaking" to talk about the just-completed General Assembly session. We have another conversation from the Welcome Project at Valparaiso University and Jennifer Olson, director of clinical education with Franciscan Health, talks about the healthcare group's Nurse Internship program which joins with regional school partners like Ivy Tech Community College to help reduce the shortage of nursing professionals.

Cedar Lake Historical Association executive director Julie Zasada also talks about an interactive exhibit which is coming to the lakefront Museum at Lassen's Resort next month.

The gavel has come down on the 2022 Indiana General Assembly. Maloney says the brisk session was consequential from an environmental and energy perspective.
  • Today: Amanda Morrison, the Manager of Prevention Services and an executive with Geminus-supported SAFE (Supporting Addiction Free Environments) of Lake County, is on "Regionally Speaking" to explain the organization's mission in the battle against substance abuse and misuse among adults and adolescents. It has a similar role to the Porter County Substance Abuse Council.
