More LED streetlights may soon be coming to Highland. The town is looking to convert its streetlights to LED technology along Kennedy Avenue, Ridge Road, 45th Street and part of Cline Avenue.

The town of Highland is looking to improve some of its most dangerous roads.

Efforts to create a sustainability commission in Highland are drawing a number of questions from town council members. Residents proposed establishing the commission to help identify grant opportunities and propose environmentally-friendly policies to the town council, among other things.
