As children prepare to return to school Lakeshore Public Radio's Dee Dotson and Tom Maloney spoke with youth advocates as well as health care industry leaders about helping children navigate the school year.

‘My body, my choice’ is the mantra many abortion rights activists are chanting these days. With the decision by the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade many people are demanding the voice that will be most affected by this decision be amplified including Rebecca Gibron the CEO of Planned Parenthood Great Northwest.

The U.S. Supreme Court recently overturned Roe v. Wade declaring that the constitutional right to abortion, upheld for nearly a half century, no longer exists. Legal experts say the court's decision will pose new questions for other courts to deal with – questions about how to apply the specific language of the final ruling to individual state laws. Lake County Right to Life President Len Reynolds joined us to discuss the position of Pro-Life Hoosiers in the Region.
