77th Avenue will once again be closed for utility work Tuesday. The Lake County Highway Department says 77th will be closed between Calumet and St. John Road between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., weather permitting.

Some South Shore trains will make extra stops for Saturday's Kenny Chesney concert at Soldier Field. Westbound trains will stop at 18th Street at 11:04 a.m. and 2:33 p.m. Eastbound trains will pick up passengers there at 9:21 and 11:21 p.m.

The closure of State Road 2 in Porter County is moving to the next phase. As soon as Friday, the intersection with Horse Prairie Avenue/Smoke Road will mostly reopen, but the Indiana Department of Transportation says minor work will continue in the northeast corner.

On I-65, watch for overnight lane closures between I-80/94 and U.S. 30. The Indiana Department of Transportation says crews will be repairing the pavement and setting up the new traffic patterns.

153rd Avenue will be closed for reconstruction between Morse and Clay streets starting Tuesday morning. The Lake County Highway Department will have multiple detours in place to guide motorists around certain sections.
