Prior to the hearing there will be a rally to among other things oppose the proposed NIPSCO rate increase.

The Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission will hold a public comment field hearing in Michigan City to hear from the public regarding NIPSCO’s proposal to raise rates. Lakeshore Public Radio's Dee Dotson and Tom Maloney spoke with a representative with Just Transition Northwest Indiana about a rally and press conference the organization is hosting before the hearing.
