More road work is set to begin next week on Region highways.

On Monday night, overnight lane closures are planned in the northbound lanes between 61st and Ridge Road, with work switching to the southbound lanes the following night.

The Indiana Department of Transportation says shoulders will be closed at U.S. 20, starting as soon as Thursday. Crews will be replacing the overhead box truss structure over the eastbound lanes.

U.S. 12 is closed at State Road 249 for bridge demolition work. The Indiana Department of Transportation says U.S. 12 will be closed for about two weeks between the exit ramps.

Starting as soon as Tuesday, I-94 will be down to one lane in each direction from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., between I-65 and State Road 49.
