"House of Tomorrow" at Beverly Shores

  • A Michigan City high school group is renovating a part of the "House of Tomorrow," one of the experimental houses brought to Beverly Shores after the 1933 World's Fair in Chicago. Todd Zeiger with Indiana Landmarks explains the work they're doing toward restoring the historic house.

Todd Zeiger, Indiana Landmarks northern Indiana director, also talks about the renovation work taken on by some local high school students on a section of the historic “House of Tomorrow” along Beverly Shores, currently closed up and awaiting someone to buy it, renovate it and live in it.
