Crown Point residents have a chance to weigh in on a proposed sewer rate hike. A public hearing is set for January 9.

The Crown Point City Council has finalized a slight water rate decrease. The state has repealed its utility receipts tax. Greg Guerrettaz with Financial Solutions Group says utility providers have to pass along those savings to customers.
