2022 northwest Indiana primary elections

  • Despite a number of contested races, voter turnout was relatively low for Tuesday's primary. The unofficial results from Porter County showed a turnout of 16.5 percent of registered voters. Lake County's was even lower at 12.7 percent.
  • Today: On this Day After the Election, Andy Downs with the Mike Downs Center for Indiana Politics at Purdue Ft. Wayne is on "Regionally Speaking" with a look at the primary election, the voter turnout, the candidates and a look ahead to the November 8th general election. And Purdue Northwest political science professor Frank Colucci talks about the controversial leaking of a first-draft of what could be a U.S. Supreme Court decision striking down federal abortion protections.
