Sheik Amer Sulaym, along with other local sheiks, sits down with US Marine Corps (USMC) Major General (MGEN) James N. Mattis (not pictured), Commanding General, 1st Marine Division (MAR DIV), to speak with him and the Governor of Al Anbar province to discuss current issues and problems happening throughout the area. The meeting was held at the 1st MAR DIV Headquarters (HQ) building on Forward Operating Base (FOB) Blue Diamond, in Ar Ramadi, Iraq (IRQ). 1st MAR DIV, in support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM, is engaged in Security and Stabilization Operations (SASO) in the Al Anbar province of Iraq.
