Today: Bail reform has received a lot of attention this year packed with emotional testimony both for and against House Enrolled Act 1300 which seeks to regulate the charitable bail industry. So we’re bringing back our conversations from advocate on both sides of the debate including a mother who lost her son to an individual out on bail as well as a representative from the only charitable bail organization operating in Indiana. But up first, Indiana Humanities recently awarded grants to two local non-profit organizations to provide public humanities programs. All of that on this edition of Regionally Speaking.
