Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb joined state and federal officials at the Indiana National Guard's Camp Atterbury, Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2021 in Edinburgh, Ind, to provide updates on the roughly 4,100 Afghan refugees still waiting at the base to be resettled in the United States.

Today: One year ago thousands of Afghans began to flee their home country as the Taliban took over. We’re speaking with an organization about the progress that has been made for Afghan refugees here in Indiana as well as the work that needs to be done to continue to offer support.  And the subject of coal ash removal has been a major topic of discussion in the Region so we bring back our conversations with representatives from NIPSCO as well as Just Transition Northwest Indiana. All of that and more on this edition of Regionally Speaking.
