Today: Ty Warner, the executive director of the Northwestern Indiana Regional Planning Commission, is on "Regionally Speaking" to review the organization's 2021 annual report, which includes some major transportation projects like the 109th Street corridor between Crown Point and Winfield, environmental projects like continued "brownfield" rehabilitation in Hammond and Gary and the ongoing effort to complete the Marquette Greenway. Warner reviews the annual report which includes economic development plans that go along with the South Shore Line expansion projects overseen by NICTD. And we revisit our conversation with Purdue University Northwest psychology professor Amanda Zelechoski, who is co-creator of a website and accompanying podcast called "Roadmap to Resilience," which focuses on ways to help young people deal with stress and trauma in their lives.
