Regionally Speaking, January 24, 2022

Lakeshore Public Radio/file

Today: Indiana economist-emeritus/writer/speaker Morton Marcus is on “Regionally Speaking” to offier his commentary and observations from another batch of “Eye On The Pie” columns on the Hoosier economy. The topics include economic development and Indiana public schools in trouble. Northwest Indiana financial planner Greg Hammer is back with an update to begin 2022. Life may seem unpredictable lately, but one fact remains: taxes exist, and they aren’t going away. But more Americans should be aware of an ever-changing tax system, so that they can implement the latest and most effective tax planning strategies. Adam Forrer, policy director for climate, Audubon Great Lakes, will explain the findings from a new Indiana state-wide poll that shows overwhelming support from Hoosier voters – across all party lines – for more renewable energy in the state.
