The musical guest for this program is not only a Chicago legend who has written hits for his own groups -- Ides of March and Survivor -- but also for many others, including .38 Special, Sammy Hagar, Chicago, and REO Speedwagon, to name but a few.
He is also the leader of the star-studded collective -- JIM PETERIK & WORLD STAGE -- a that brings together various friends and peers to perform original and classic hits and showcase the inimitable songwriter that is Jim Peterik.
Tonight's program will spotlight the two companion albums released recently by WORLD STAGE, the albums -- "Roots & Shoots Vol.1" and"Roots & Shoots Vol.2" -- featuring such world famous "roots" artists as Mike Reno (Loverboy), The Ides of March, and Neil Donnell (Chicago), Mark Farner (Grand Funk Railroad), and up and coming "shoots" artists such as Sophia Sheth, Colin Peterik, Dave Mikulskis and Marc Sherer.
