Performing at Hard Rock Casino on March 17th on his "Trouble Is...25th Anniversary Tour"
Kenny Wayne Shepherd -- guitarist, singer, and songwriter -- is well into his second decade as a recording/touring artist, a career that began when he was just 17. He was heralded as a child prodigy for the first few years and quickly outgrew that description to become one of the premier blues guitarists of his generation.
Shepherd has sold millions of albums worldwide, received five Grammy nominations, taken home two Billboard Music Awards, and assorted other awards and accolades, while charting nine #1 blues albums and a string of #1 mainstream rock singles. Shepherd recently re-recorded his break-through album "Trouble Is..." with the same basic line-up of players and production folks, only with a hind-sight of 25 years.
Shepherd talks with show host/producer Tom Lounges about his long musical journey, touring with Bob Dylan, some great advice from Stevie Ray Vaughan, and the approach taken while re-making the landmark "Trouble Is..." album. Kenny Wayne Shepherd performs at Hard Rock Casino on March 17th.
