Today: Amanda Morrison, the Manager of Prevention Services and an executive with Geminus-supported SAFE (Supporting Addiction Free Environments) of Lake County, is on "Regionally Speaking" to explain the organization's mission in the battle against substance abuse and misuse among adults and adolescents. It has a similar role to the Porter County Substance Abuse Council. Side Effects Public Media's Carter Barrett has a report on how rural hospitals in the Midwest, including some in Indiana, are using creative ways to make vaccines available to new immigrants and to those who don't speak English.
