Host of On the RadarThe name is Sarah Opat. She produces and hosts Lakeshore Public Radio segment, "On the Radar" on 89.1 FM.
Sarah Opat talks with local up-and-coming bands, artists, and cool people in general across Northwest Indiana and Chicago, exploring how they got their starts, and what plans they have for the future. Each guest has a unique story to share. "As an artist, I believe in collaboration. This radio show allows the world to listen to the underground talent of our neighbors," said Opat.
Opat has interviewed multiple Chicago artists, photographers, musicians, bands, a psychologist, DJ's, and more. Her body of work "On the Radar" represents her vast interests and upcoming events in the region. Opat works the groove of passion into radio waves at Lakeshore Public Radio.
