Valparaiso's planned improvements to Goodrich Road are moving ahead. The city is looking to extend Goodrich Road from Ransom Road south to Vale Park Road, which itself was recently extended.
The board of works last week hired Egolf Coates Excavation for the project. It submitted the lowest of seven bids at just under $525,820. That's well under the estimated cost of $694,000.
