June marks Pride Month, a time to celebrate the LGBTQ community as well as a time to reflect on the movement that continues to push for full and equal rights for members of the community. Lakeshore Public Radio is dedicated to inclusion and diversity in every aspect of our community. We will celebrate Pride Month with interviews with members and allies to promote increased visibility and equality to a population whose members have historically been forced to conceal their identities. Lakeshore Public Radio's Dee Dotson recently spoke with PFLAG Michigan City volunteer and Pride Fest committee member Cory Sollar to get all of the details happening later on this month to recognize and celebrate members of the LGBTQ community.
