MUNSTER - Munster Police are looking for a man who robbed a First Midwest Bank.
Investigations Division Commander Lieutenant John Peirick says the robbery happened at around 9:10 a.m. Tuesday, at 750 Ridge Road. The police department is requesting the public's assistance in identifying the person, who is responsible for the robbery.
That person is described as a black male, in his late 50’s, wearing a gray suit with an ivory colored fedora and large rimmed glasses. Police say the man presented a note to the teller and demanded money and implied he had a gun. He fled the bank with an undetermined amount of cash.
