Today:   Two college professors who are also authors came into the "Regionally Speaking" studio to talk about their books -- first, I.U. Northwest professor emeritus James Lane about the 3rd edition of "Gary - A Pictorial History," and then Purdue University Northwest professor Carolyn Boiarski talks about her latest book that chronicles the effects of good and bad communication.  One good example that she brings up is Enbridge Energy's effort to comunicate with Griffith residents before expanding a pipeline.Side Effects Public Media's Paige Pfleger reports on an entire Ohio county that is considered one of the state's healthiest -- but it is also the county with the least health insurance coverage.

Chris Nolte produces and hosts “Regionally Speaking” aired weekdays from noon to 1:00 p.m. He's also the temporary local "Morning Edition" host.
