Today: As we get ready for the Fourth of July, we revisit our conversation with Emily Cutka with the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana, about the summer food assistance programs that help low-income families with children who won't be getting breakfasts or lunches -- because they would get them at school. Purdue University Northwest Veterans Services Coordinator Anthony Pilota is in the studio to talk about his job and his work, on both the Hammond and Westville campuses, to assist veterans who are making the transition from active duty to academic life. The PNW program is one of only seven colleges in Indiana to be recognized by "U.S. Veterans Magazine" as one of 2019's "Best of the Best" veteran-friendly schools.
