Regionally Speaking, Wednesday, April 3, 2019

WGBH Public Radio

Today:   A recent "New York Times" article on the re-opening of a closed paper mill in Wisconsin -- all because of Amazon's need for cardboard shipping boxes --  is the latest episode in a continuing story of the state of recycling markets in America. Neil Samahon with Metro Recycling spoke at length with us about this, and we have his comments.  Celina Weatherwax with the MAAC Foundation in Valparaiso tells us about the latest graduating class of professional community fiirefighters from its training academy, and we have a poem to share during this National Poetry Month.

Chris Nolte produces and hosts “Regionally Speaking” aired weekdays from noon to 1:00 p.m. He's also the temporary local "Morning Edition" host.
