Today: Tyrus Joseforsky of Flight Levelz Entertainment is in the studio to talk about the inaugural "Hometown Country Jam" country music festival to be held June 1st in the historic Brickie Bowl in Hobart. It will be an all-ages event featuring well-known and up-and-coming country music groups and performers, as well as a northwest Indiana steelworker and country music artist. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Humane Society of Hobart. More information about the event and tickets can be found online
We also have a recycling markets update, from Neil Samahon of Metro Recycling. Neil offers how America's dealing with the shocking announcement from China in January 2018 of their new “National Sword” policy, which bans 24 types of solid waste, including various plastics and unsorted mixed papers, and sets a much tougher standard for contamination levels.
