Today: Northwest Indiana state Senator Karen Tallian (D) is in the studio to talk about her recent trip to Winnipeg, Manitoba to participate in the annual Midwestern Legislative Conference of both U.S. and Canadian lawmakers. The group discusses key topics on both sides of the border -- including trade and NAFTA. Karen also talks about her meeting with Canada's national minister for natural resources, on what Canada's been doing to research and promote the industrial hemp economy.
