Regionally Speaking, Wednesday, June 6, 2018

5-Dollar Dinners website

Today;   Northwest Indiana financial advisor Greg Hammer just returned from a national workshop on the federal tax reform act changes and their impact on Hoosiers' retirement savings.  He briefs us on the big changes.

We have another edition of "Green Fleet Radio," supported by Souoth Shore Clean Cities, with host Carl Lisek.

And we bring back two recent conversations related to Indiana's opioid addiction crisis -- first, with Lake County Coronor Merilee Frey  and then, with Justin Phillps, an Indianapolis woman and mother who lost a son to heroin addiction and created a hotline service for addicts, their families and caregivers. She is now Indiana co-director of the Addiction Policy Forum, a new online addiction assistance and resource service.

Chris Nolte produces and hosts “Regionally Speaking” aired weekdays from noon to 1:00 p.m. He's also the temporary local "Morning Edition" host.
