Indiana Business Research Center

Today:  we talk to Carol Rogers, who is the Deputy Director and Chief Information officer for the Indiana Business Research Center in Indianapolis.  She is in charge of the award-winning interactive Web service STATS Indiana.  The site's become one of the nation's most-used public data sites  along with its sister site STATS America. You can find almost any statistic within Indiana on it, dating back more than 100 years.

Another in the series of "Pathways to Purpose" speaking series is coming up this week at Valparaiso University, so we bring back Elizabeth Lynn to tell us the goal behind the series and more about the next speaker..

We have two more conversations from the Welcome Project at Valparaiso University.  The Project collects first-person stories and pairs these with intentional conversations to help forge stronger ties within and across our communities.  And Northwest Indiana Food Council executive Ann Massie says the second annual Food Expo and Discussion is this Saturday at County Line Orchard.

Chris Nolte produces and hosts “Regionally Speaking” aired weekdays from noon to 1:00 p.m. He's also the temporary local "Morning Edition" host.
