Today: Anthony Swinger of the Indiana Office of Utility Consumer Counselor talks about NIPSCO's request for an increase in its basic natural gas rate and of the January 3rd field hearing by the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission, as the commissioners review the case and take public comment. The field hearing will be held at Merrillville High School.
Lake County Surveyor Bill Emerson is back to talk about the next two public meetings seeking comment on the proposed comprehensive land use plan for unincorporated areas of the county. One public meeting is Tuesday in Lowell and another will be on Wednesday at Calumet New Tech High School in Calumet Township.
