With the start of a new academic year, Indiana University Northwest wants to make sure that students understand the importance of recognizing and preventing sexual misconduct -- as well as domestic and date violence and abuse, sexual harassment and stalking. Dean of Students Beth Dean Tyler came on "Regionally Speaking" on Wednesday to talk about a number of programs -- local as well as IU system-wide -- that inform and educate.
She begins the conversation by talking about the unique nature of the Gary campus -- where students can bring their issues of domestic abuse, domestic violence and sexual abuse with them from home, when they come in for classes and their life on campus.
