Today: Northwest Indiana financial advisor Greg Hammer talks about the decision by the Federal Reserve Bank board on Wednesday to once again incrementally raise interest rates --the third such hike in the past 13 months. Hammer looks at the impact on Hoosiers ranging from mortgages, to credit cards, to student loans, to what'll happen on Wall Street.
Lakeshore Public Radio's Steven Lattimore sat in on one of the Indiana Supreme Court's "oral arguments" -- the latest one held in Gary. He notes that it was also a local celebration of the impending retirement of Indiana Supreme Court Justice and Gary native Robert Rucker. Steven talked with the retiring Justice about his life and his philosophy for success.

"Quantum Leap" focuses on STEM -- science, technology, engineering and math -- with discussion programs across the state, special adult field trips and a special program with the Indiana State Library that connects reading with the upcoming 200th anniversary of the novel "Frankenstein," which is really related to STEM as well as a horror classic.
