The Tuesday, October 26th program will find host Tom Lounges shining a light on the music and career of an artist coming to the Region for a performance in the Hard Rock Cafe at Hard Rock Casino (29th & Burr St.) in Gary, Indiana on October 29th.
ALLY VENABLE, a gifted young Texas blues guitar-slinger who has been turning heads for a while now with her three earlier recordings and live shows. But it is Venable's latest album, "Heart of Fire" (on Ruf Records), that has finally landed this talented lady on the musical radar in a big way.
This new 2021 release is the follow up to her impressive 2019 "Texas Honey" album, and is now available on all formats -- CD, digital and vinyl -- offering up 11 memorable and well-crafted songs produced by the artist with Jim Gaines.
Ally gets a nice musical assist on a couple of the new tracks by Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Devon Allman, while also delivering to us a moving and heartfelt number titled, "Tribute to SRV." Those songs and a couple of others from "Heart Of Fire" will be featured during this radio program in-between interview segments with Venable.
Ally Venable will surely impress when she hits the Hard Rock Café Stage at 9pm on October 29th, demonstrating why the world will be hearing a lot more about this rising artist in future.
