Shining a Spotlight on the Self-Injury Crisis and Songs Addressing the Problem

For Self-Injury Awareness Month, TOM LOUNGES welcomed down to the Lakeshore Studio -- ERIC D. SPRUTH, EMALEE KAY and RUTH HALSTED -- to represent The Self-Injury Support Groups of NWI's free hosting of the movie "TO WRITE LOVE ON HER ARMS" (PG-13) starring Kat Dennings at the Hobart Art Theater on March 27th at 6 pm. The evening will serve to both educate and support those who struggle with self-harm and other mental health issues.

The program features several songs that address this troubling issue by the likes of R.E.M., Johnny Cash, Garbage and Between The Trees.
