"Midwest BEAT with Tom Lounges" welcomed longtime concert producer and promoter CHARLIE BLUM into the studio to co-host, along with three musical guests calling in to chat -- PETER NOONE of HERMAN'S HERMITS fame, CARL GIAMARRESE of THE BUCKINGHAMS, and MARK DAWSON of THE GRASS ROOTS -- the three singers from the groups performing on SATURDAY, JANUARY 27 for the "SALUTE TO THE SIXTIES" at The Venue @ Horseshoe Casino in Hammond. Several songs from the three groups are featured during the course of the show, so get ready to rock, roll and remember as "Midwest BEAT" goes "retro!"

PART ONE of the three-part, four guest interview about "SALUTE TO THE SIXTIES" features Tom Lounges' chat with THE BUCKINGHAMS' co-founder, lead singer and rhythm guitarist CARL GIAMMARSESE.   Plenty of songs from The Buckinghams catalog are featured, both some classic original hits and some tasty live concert versions.

Tom Lounges interviews PETER NOONE, once known as "Herman" of HERMAN'S HERMITS during the 1960s, and still fronting and singing with the current group of Hermits.

PART THREE of the three-part, four guest interview about "SALUTE TO THE SIXTIES" features Tom Lounges' chat with PETER NOONE, who came to fame in his teens during the mid-1960s British Invasion Era as "HERMAN" of the group, HERMAN'S HERMITS.

Hermits original songs like "Mrs. Brown, You've Got A Lovely Daughter," "Henry The VIII," and "Can't You Hear My Heartbeat," among others are played, as well as a lost classic from Peter's late 1980s group, THE TREMBLERS.
