Photographer Martin Navejas talks with Lakeshore's Sarah Opat "On the Radar" about his recent solo exhibition at CHESS Art Gallery in Hammond, Indiana.
Navejas shoots models in their purest form. He shoots naked models with the intention of portraying human emotion. Navejas explores the human cycle of emotion through each model and landscape.
The exhibit Talking Body II was inspired by the darker sides of human emotion. In the radio interview Navejas talked about how heartbreak has transformed into art. His solo exhibit Talking Body II is up on display for the month of November.
"Moving past the pain has helped me create beautiful works of art," said Navejas.
