JIMMY PANKOW of the group CHICAGO
JIMMY PANKOW was inducted, along with his Chicago band mate Robert Lamm, into the Songwriters Hall of Fame on June 15. Jimmy has written or co-written many of the group's hits, including "25 or 6 to 4," "Saturday In The Park," "Feelin' Stronger Every Day," "Make Me Smile," and others.
CHICAGO were inducted into The Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 2016 and have toured every year since the band formed 50 years ago in 1967. The platinum-selling group's trombonist/arranger JAMES PANKOW remains one of the four original members still rocking nightly in the groundbreaking group, along with Robert Lamm on keyboards and vocals, Lee Loughnane on trumpet and vocals, and Walt Parazaider on woodwinds.
This summer, CHICAGO are touring North America with THE DOOBIE BROTHERS and stopping for a "Hometown" concert on JULY 12 at Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island.
