both cast members of "MY WAY: A Musical Tribute to Sinatra."
Guests on this week's program are-- Christine Mild and McKinley Carter -- two cast members of "My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra," a wonderful musical revue at Theatre at the Center (TATC) in Munster, IN. The musical is set in an elegant nightclub in old Hollywood like one Sinatra, his loves, cronies and colleagues might have frequented.
The theatrical production relives the legendary career of Frank Sinatra as four actors -- George Keating, Eric A. Lewis, Christine Mild and McKinley Carter -- share more than 50 of his beloved hits, spanning the breadth of his career from the 1950s to the 1990s. All songs are sung with the backing of a live jazz trio.
On this program, Mild and Carter discuss their respective acting careers, some history about the "My Way" production, what the audience can expect, and each of the ladies perform a live song in-studio. A handful of classic original Sinatra recordings are also featured.
Directed by Brenda Didier, "My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra," runs through March 19 at Theatre at the Center (TATC) in Munster, IN.
