New Concert Venue Readies To Open As Guests Talk About Its Opening Show

This edition of “A LOOK AT THE ARTS with Tom Lounges” follows up on the success regional country artist JIMMY SARR has experienced since his last appearance on the program in September to showcase the release of his debut album.

It also spotlight the revamping and remodeling of a popular regional nightclub — The Silver Buckle Saloon — which is doubling its size in January with the addition and opening of their separate concert venue, The Room.    The kick off concert on January 6, features hometown celebrities JIMMY SARR and ERIKA RAEN opening the night for the newly rebooted hit-making Canadian country group, EMERSON DRIVE.

Tom Lounges has been a region radio personality and a music journalist since 1979. For the last 35-years, he has been reporting on entertainment as a weekly columnist and feature writer for The Times newspaper. He was also publisher and editor of the monthly tri-state entertainment magazine ("Midwest BEAT Magazine") for over two decades, he has written hundreds of features for numerous national glossy magazines over the decades, and he wrote "Liner Notes" for over a dozen albums release by Sony Records.
