MUSICAL GUEST: British Singer/Songwriter BOBBY LONG
British singer/songwriter BOBBY LONG emerged from London’s folk music scene and currently resides in New York City, where he has forged a loyal global following with his hauntingly poetic lyrics and troubadour style.
Writing his first lyrical prose at just 11-years-old, BOBBY LONG has four albums currently in release and a fifth one in the making. Long will publish his second book of poetry — “Losing My Misery” — early next month; the follow-up to 2012’s “Losing My Brotherhood.”
This new collection of poems — “Losing My Misery” — reflects Long’s thoughts on the human condition; dripping with both raw emotion and wry humor, making it simultaneously funny, haunting and heartbreaking.
He recently wrapped up a U.S. Tour and has a European road trip planned for Spring 2017. BOBBY LONG called in live on this program to discuss his music, his career, and his latest book of poems, while featuring songs from his latest 11-song album, “ODE TO THINKING.” More: www.musicbobbylong.com
