Region’s Jimmy Sarr Debuts National Country Music CD with Tom Lounges on “A Look At The Arts”

The in-studio guest this afternoon on “A LOOK AT THE ARTS with Tom Lounges” is JIMMY SARR, a regional country music artist celebrating the release this weekend of his debut CD, “WE FOUGHT HARD”Stay close to the radio, because the album is fresh off the press and today, before it’s even released, I will debut some of the tracks from it for the first time on radio.

As he has chased his musical dreams — Jimmy Sarr has performed at some prestigious country music venues and opened shows for top name acts like Big & Rich, Colt Ford, Chris Cagle and Travis Tritt.  

Tomorrow — September 10th — will be the official release party for Sarr’s national debut — “We Fought Hard” —  at The Silver Buckle Saloon (8355 Indianapolis Blvd.) in Highland with special guests Shotgun Whiskey (7:30pm) and Hoosier Ditty (9pm).    Doors open at 6pm with a special CD signing and meet ‘n’ greet with Jimmy.

Tom Lounges has been a region radio personality and a music journalist since 1979. For the last 35-years, he has been reporting on entertainment as a weekly columnist and feature writer for The Times newspaper. He was also publisher and editor of the monthly tri-state entertainment magazine ("Midwest BEAT Magazine") for over two decades, he has written hundreds of features for numerous national glossy magazines over the decades, and he wrote "Liner Notes" for over a dozen albums release by Sony Records.
