IN-STUDIO GUESTS: SHERYL YOUNGBLOOD of SAY YES!

with CORNELL BROWN, AL BURROWS & JOE FIZER of HIGH PERFORMANCE

Chicago R&B artist SHERYL YOUNGBLOOD of the SAY YES! group is in-studio guest tonight on “Midwest BEAT with Tom Lounges” to promote the free to the public “MOTOWN NIGHT AT THE MARINA” performance from 6-9pm at The Hammond Marina on  SATURDAY, SEPT. 3rd.

Joining Youngblood in-studio for this radio program were the three members of the veteran Chicago vocal group, HIGH PERFORMANCECORNELL BROWN, AL BURROWS and JOE FIZER — who are special guests for the “MOTOWN NIGHT AT THE MARINA” concert.   The four of them sing live to tracks a few times on this program.

On September 3rd — this live music event produced by Tom Lounges Entertainment, LLC for the Hammond Port Authority and with Tom Lounges serving as guest emcee — will feature plenty of groove-driven music from the classic “Hitsville USA” music vaults.  Say Yes and High Performance will team up to perform hits by The Temptations, The Four Tops, Gladys Knight, Smokey Robinson, The Commodores, and others.   Plus, some funk favorites  and a couple of modern R&B hits added to the mix.

NOTE:  Although no charge to attend the concert, there is a $5.00 parking fee for Indiana residents and $10.00 non-Indiana visitors.  Hammond residents park for free.  There will be a beer garden and food vendors.   More: www.hammondmarina.com/event/end-of-season-boater-party or (219) 659-7678.
