February was Black History Month and in respect to that, each of the month’s installment of the weekly program, “Midwest BEAT with Tom Lounges,” has been part of an extended series with guests spotlighting the evolution of Black Music in America. While February is now officially over, the series continues for one more evening.
Tonight’s program features — The Daughters of R&B — CARLA COOKE (daughter of Sam Cooke), ROBYN CHARLES (daughter of Ray Charles) and RHONDA ROSS (daughter of Diana Ross) talking about their legendary parents and about their own careers in entertainment.
