Celebrating Anniversary of EVA CASSIDY's "Night Bird: Blues Alley Concert Recordings"

TONIGHT  TUESDAY, DECEMBER 8, 2015

A Celebration of EVA CASSIDY with guest Bill Straw”

This edition of “MIDWEST BEAT with Tom Lounges,” shines a much deserved spotlight on a remarkable live performance from January 3, 1996 by one of the most gifted singers and song interpreters to ever step on a stage — the late EVA CASSIDY.

Fame eluded talented Washington, D.C. area singer-songwriter EVA CASSIDY when she was alive.  Tragically, Cassidy died of melanoma in 1996, but with the help of Gig Harbor, Washington’s Blix Street Records her music has  lived on and the recordings she left behind have since found fans worldwide posthumously.

To celebrate the 20th Anniversary release of “NIGHTBIRD:  THE COMPLETE BLUES ALLEY CONCERT RECORDINGS” by the late Eva Cassidy — Tom Lounges will be joined by BILL STRAW, the president of Eva’s record label BLIX STREET RECORDS who has preserved Eva’s voice for future generations to enjoy!

In 2005, EVA CASSIDY placed in the TOP 5 of Amazon.com’s list of best-selling musicians, along with The Beatles, U2,
