This edition of “MIDWEST BEAT with Tom Lounges” originally aired Tuesday, November 17, 2015

“MIDWEST BEAT with Tom Lounges”

Live In-Studio Musical Guest: HARBOR LIGHTS

Northwest Indiana doo-wop vocal group HARBOR LIGHTS – who for the last 15 years have been keeping the authentic street corner sounds of the 1950s alive and well — were the in-studio guests for this week’s “Midwest BEAT with Tom Lounges”, with five of the six members of the group talking about the group’s history, a little about the history of the doo-wop style, and even sang four classic doo-wop fan favorites in street corner, accapella-fashion on air.

HARBOR LIGHTS headline the “Doo Wop For Doggies” fundraising concert for The Humane Society of Northwest Indiana on Saturday, November 21st at the Memorial Opera House in Valparaiso, Indiana.  Also performing on Saturday’s 6-9pm concert bill, will be Northwest Indiana vocal duo, Radio Memories featuring The Dentons.

“Midwest BEAT with Tom Lounges” airs every Tuesday at 7pm Central on 89.1FM-LakeShore Public Radio and streams live in real time online stream at: www.lakeshorepublicmedia.org.
