Lakeshore Public Radio is "All In"

We're "All In" at Lakeshore Public Radio - 89.1 FM with the brand new, statewide call-in/text-in show from Indiana Public Broadcasting News, "All In." You can join host Matt Pelsor for a show focused on issues and topics that excite all Hoosiers, every Monday - Friday, from 12-1 PM. The show touches on the issues and topics that excite and interest us, rooted in the belief that we can bring our passions and differences together in a civil, intelligent and non-judgmental environment. Listeners can take part in the show through social media: @AllINIndiana on Twitter or "All In Indiana" on Facebook.

Because of our addition of "All In," we're moving "Regionally Speaking" an hour earlier, up to 11 AM, Monday - Thursday. Host Chris Nolte will still have his finger on the pulse of Northwest Indiana, and if the new time is a bit of an adjustment for your listening schedule, podcasts will be available on iTunes, Spotify, NPR ONE, and our website: LakeshorePublicRadio.org every day.

Of course, you've no doubt hear the familiar voice of WBEZ's Michael Puente during our local newscasts over the past few months. He's our newest roommate, as he and WBEZ have moved the Northwest Indiana bureau into Lakeshore Public Media's office building. This wonderful partnership allows us to bring Michael's award winning reporting to our airwaves every Friday morning at 11 AM, with "Off Mic." Each week Michael Puente will host a riveting discussion about the latest topics that impact Northwest Indiana, the south suburbs and Chicago.

Rounding out our new afternoon schedule is Krys Boyd, host of "Think," from KERA Dallas/Ft. Worth. Each day, Monday - Thursday at 2 PM, listeners across Northwest Indiana can tune-in to the program to hear thought-provoking, in-depth conversations with newsmakers from across the globe. Previous guests on the program include former Secretaries of State Madeleine Albright and John Kerry, actor Bryan Cranston, Sen. John Cornyn and Sen. Ted Cruz, Melinda Gates, author Malcolm Gladwell, Jane Goodall, Rev. Jesse Jackson and more.

Local favorites "Midwest Beat, with Tom Lounges," and "Let's Eat, with Chef Nick," can still be heard every Friday. "Midwest Beat" moves to 1 PM on Fridays, for two-hours, followed by "Let's Eat's" regular time-slot of 3 PM. We wrap-up our Fridays for the remainder of this month, and early-November with "Gamenight" at 6 PM.
