Habitat for Humanity of Northwest Indiana will dedicate a new home next week. A local family will get the keys to their new home in Lake Station during a ceremony Wednesday.
The organization says the home was built with the help of volunteers and donations from individuals and organizations. The family also put in 300 "sweat equity hours."
Habitat for Humanity of Northwest Indiana Executive Director Dawn Michaels said in a statement that the new home represents hope, stability, and a brighter future for this deserving family.
