Lane closures are coming to Cline Avenue next week. Starting Monday, the highway will be down to one lane in each direction between Gary Road and U.S. 20, as crews repair the roadway. The Indiana Department of Transportation expects work to wrap up by the end of the week.
In LaPorte County, State Road 2 will have alternating lane closures next week, between county roads 700 and 400 West. Flaggers will direct traffic around resurfacing work.
And in Jasper County, U.S. 231 will be closed just north of State Road 14 for a culvert pipe replacement. The project is scheduled to start as soon as Monday and wrap up by the end of November. INDOT's official detour uses State Road 10, I-65 and State Road 14.
