Motorists using westbound I-80/94 can expect a new traffic pattern starting Thursday evening. The Indiana Department of Transportation says the two left lanes will not have access to the exits at Cline Avenue, Kennedy Avenue, Indianapolis Boulevard, and Calumet Avenue. Drivers who want to use those exits will have to be in the two right lanes before Burr.
INDOT says construction work will take place 24 hours a day, six or seven days a week. Motorists should be prepared for changing traffic patterns and nighttime lane closures on both the eastbound and westbound sides.
It's part of a $32 million concrete restoration project set for final completion next May.
