Share Tweet Email

Two Milwaukee teenagers are in the Newton County Jail following a stolen car chase that began in Wisconsin.

The blue Jeep Cherokee was spotted at State Road 14 and County Road 400 East near Mount Ayr.  Deputy Darrin Whaley tried to stop the SUV, but it sped off.  He reported an object was tossed from the Jeep … which later turned out to be marijuana.  The driver tried to drive across a field but became stuck in a ditch, where the two teens were arrested.

Taken into custody was 19-year-old Tori Leavell of Milwaukee and a 17-year-old Juvenile.  Both had outstanding arrest warrants from Wisconsin.
