Windom Sentenced For Gary Man’s Murder
A Michigan City man has been sentenced to 50 years in the Department of Corrections for a Lake County murder that happened more than two years ago.
Aaron Windom earlier pleaded guilty to murder in the shooting death of Deandre Wilson in February 2011 in Gary. The two had argued over the use of an automobile.
Lake County Prosecutor Bernard Carter said Windom was already serving a 20-year sentence from a previous case in which he fired shots at a car on the Borman Expressway in 2011.
